We meet at Mandoon Estate Winery in Caversham and launch from Mandoon’s private jetty on the Swan River.
We then paddle slowly down river, taking time to admire the natural beauty and unique flora and fauna of this special, serene, meandering section of the river.
Our journey includes a number of ‘raft up’s’ where we get together ‘mid-stream’ for a chat and a story.
We continue with our paddle arriving at the historical Woodbridge Park where we stop, get out and stretch our legs.
A short paddle back to Mandoon sees us disembarking and walking you up to the Cellar Door to enjoy a well-earned wine tasting, coffee, tea or soft drink.
A great way to end the day.

Fabulous excursion for locals and tourists alike

A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours spent on the river in the historic Swan Valley area. Top-of-the-range kayaks provided comfort and easy steering. Informative commentary at regular stops was provided by Matt and Kevin, giving much historic detail I wasn't aware of even after 30+ years in Perth.
The wine tasting afterwards was a bonus and the wine went down really well after a warm morning's exercise!

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience .

I don't think there was a favourite part of the tour as we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience . Guides were fantastic as was the wine .

I recommend this to any age group that wants to try something different .
We found the rowing not too difficult at all and enjoyed padding up and back on the river and was very peaceful.

The guides were very informative of the surrounding flora and fauna and really know the history of this part of the region. A couple of great guys .

I recommend you book for lunch after in the restaurant at Mandoon Estate as it books out most Saturdays .

I had a lovely day out with Kevin and Matt yesterday. The scenery was beautiful. It was so peaceful kayaking along the river and watching the bird life.
The wine tasting was great as well. We had a really nice friendly group.
