If you are looking for a trip outside of city, and refuse to drive the unfamiliar road, this is the tour for you! The journey was wonderful. Chris, our driver/guide, was great. Commentary was provided along the journey. Plenty of time given for each stop. Lunch at a new beach stop was fabulous. Good food. Splendid view.
Nathan's 4WD driving on the Lancelin sand dunes and later on the freeway on a rainy night was excellent.Alan is a very good tour guide and kept us interested throughout the day with historic facts about the various places we visited. They went out of their way to make sure we got dropped at a spot closest to our hotels(though that wasn't guaranteed as part of the itinerary). They even provided a complimentary cold water bottle after a walk in the Pinnacles.
The pick up was in time, Brian our driver was really nice an told us a lot about the area we visited or were drove along. Highlight for me was the 4WD driving on the sanddunes and the sandboarding. It's a long day but definitely worth.
The sandboarding at Lancelin was a fantastic experience. As we had a young child who is less than 4 year old with us, we appreciated not having the 4WD as a parent and the child would be left out of it. All of us, including the 3 year old, enjoyed climbing up and sliding down the sand dunes! The coach transport was comfortable and scenic despite it being a relatively long journey. The driver was informative and was very considerate of the children's needs (toileting, drop off back at hotel, near eateries etc). More time could have been spared at the Pinnacles, or a smaller van transfer to see more of the Pinnacles (rather than have to walk through sand sitting hard on our bodies) would be fantastic. Overall a great trip with a yummy lunch.
Overall is good except for the overcooked lobster!
